My favorite subject to photograph is the child.
My granddaughter, Karlie, has been my inspiration.
It was with her birth, that my love of photography surfaced. That was five years ago.
Since then, my camera always seems to find a "little person" willing to share a grin or two.
There is no studio involved.
No special lights or equipment.
It is just me, my digital camera, and Adobe Photoshop cs, along with a few other editing programs.
When I photograph children, it is with absolute spontaneity. As they play, I aim and shoot. Sometimes they become so involved in what they are doing, they forget I am even there. Those are the best shots. The ones where they are caught unawares. That is when the innocence really shines through.
