My favorite subject to photograph is the child. My granddaughters, Karlie, Abbey and Cameryn, have all been my inspiration. It was with each of their births, that my love of photography just exploded. Since then, my camera always seems to find a "little person" willing to share a grin or two.
There is no studio involved. No special lights, or fancy equipment. It is just me, the beauty of natural sunlight, my digital cameras, Adobe Photoshop, and a few other editing programs. When I photograph children, it is with absolute spontaneity. As they play, my camera and I "go to work." Sometimes they become so involved in what they are doing, they forget I am even there. Those are the best shots. The ones where they are caught totally unawares. That is when the innocence really shines through. You will find other types of images as well, as I expand beyond the child.
